Bishop Julius Otieno

I was born on 18 september 1954,in Nyanza Province, in the Republic of Kenya.In 1978 I become a Christian,since this time I have worked in the Church in different positions starting from Church Elder to a Bishop now.

In 1994,I founded a Church called 'THE LIVING WATER CHURCH' and by the grace of the lord it was officially registered by the Government of Kenya on 5th/4/1995.

Being an orphan myself who was brought up in a very difficult situation,I thought of orphans whom their parents were dying due to HIV/AIDS,some were being thrown in toilets,some abardoned in the streets. I really felt for them and started collecting them in my single room, they were increasing day by day and I could not help them accordingly since I did not have any support nor income though I was doing it privately without the knowledge of the government

In the name of 'ST ELIZABETH ORPHANAGE HOME'.

Todate through the grace of the Lord,The government has provided us with a piece of land where the orphanage stands.

We have one hundred orphan children who goes to school within the home.
